"[My relationships were] like I was in these movies where the script was only half-written. When I’d get to the end of this half-script, the other actors wanted me to ad lib. But I had never gotten the hang of that. That’s why these movies were always box-office failures. Six of them in the past twenty years. I always blew the lines." ~ from my horrible first novel "Learn How To Pretend." (unpublished)(obviously)

The Daily Me

In mid-January of 2013, I decided to regrow my beard. I've had facial hair in one form or another for most of my adult life, so it's not a novelty or anything. But I've often wondered at the growth rate. I shaved off the beard and mustache back in September of 2012 and stayed clean-shaven for about four and a half months. These photos show the progression. At some point, I want to make this into an animation - because I'm all vain like that - but in the meantime, if you're so inclined, you can see the individual progression here.

You have one of the most admirable collections of head wear I have ever seen. Couldn't concentrate on the beard or I'd miss all the heavenly glory...
